Taking a Little Time Off

I just wanted to give a brief update and let everyone know we are going to cancel our HOME TELEPHONE and INTERNET for a little while to help save money. The two cost us about $100.00 a month, that could be put to better use elsewhere. We will still have our cell phones, and we both have internet at work. I will try to update this site from work from time to time, but just know, we are still alive!

National Stock Show Kick Off Parade

Today at lunch I walked downtown to watch the annual Stock Show Kick Off Parade. If you remember last year we attended our first rodeo, this year we found out there was a parade to begin the big week and definately had to go! Well, Ashley didn't get to come down but since I work right behind Union Station I could make a lunch of it. It was pretty fun I guess I followed the famous longhorns about 10 blocks trying to get a good picture. Keep in mind, this is a "cattle drive" right through the heart of downtown Denver!

Above is the Governor of Colorado Bill Ritter Riding a horse in front of the Longhorn heard. It is kind of neat that our governor actually gets involved in large events and can be seen in the public.
